Laura Jurgensen, JD, serves as a portfolio manager with the Southwest Comprehensive Center, bringing nearly half a decade of direct experience building capacity in state education agencies (SEAs). She has particular expertise in special education accountability and organizational effectiveness. In her role, she focuses on developing strong, effective project teams and fostering connections across projects and states to strengthen collaboration and coherence. Laura ensures that SEA staff are well equipped to sustain their work independently after Comprehensive Center support concludes, contributing to their long-term stability and impact.
