About Lauren Decker-Woodrow, PhD
Lauren Decker-Woodrow, PhD, serves as the performance management lead for the Southwest Comprehensive Center and has half a decade of experience supporting Comprehensive Center work. She brings a direct understanding of Southwest contexts, including legislative and rural-urban dynamics, and expertise navigating state-federal relationships. She leads a comprehensive performance management system, advises teams on ways to strengthen their project designs, and improves data collection and communication so partners receive clear, actionable insights. Lauren strengthens the strategic capacity of state partners by ensuring projects are clearly articulated, grounded in continuous improvement, and aligned with outcomes that matter for educators, students, and families—ultimately helping states make informed decisions and direct resources effectively.
