About Liz Norton, PhD
Liz Norton, PhD, serves as a portfolio manager with the Southwest Comprehensive Center. She is an education leader with more than two decades of experience directly supporting state education agencies, districts, and schools to design and implement large-scale instructional and system-level improvements. Her work strengthens state efforts to develop and sustain coherent district support strategies by improving data systems, designing clear training and guidance, and helping states use their policy and funding levers to maximize benefits for districts and schools. Liz uses her expertise to enhance state leaders’ capacity, sharpen the focus and improve the impact of state teams, and ultimately contribute to improved student outcomes. She has a strong commitment to supporting systems that elevate educators and advance long-term student success.
