About Kristin Nafziger, MA, PMP
Kristin Nafziger, MA, PMP, a native of the region, serves as the director of the Southwest Comprehensive Center. She brings more than 20 years of experience successfully supporting federal and state governments and foundations to implement high-quality, evidence-based initiatives that improve education outcomes for students and families. Drawing on systems and design thinking from the business and nonprofit sectors, she has built a dynamic team that produces creative solutions while keeping a client-centered approach. Kristin’s focus is on building the capacity of state education agency (SEA) leaders and their state partners to improve generations of student outcomes and serve as models for the nation. She works closely with SEAs to outline projects that deliver results and align with long-term strategic goals. Kristin is committed to fostering sustainable practices within client agencies, ensuring that the work not only addresses immediate needs but builds enduring capacity for continuous improvement.
